Hola! I’m María, a Creative Technologist with a passion for blending creativity, technology, and hands-on problem-solving. Growing up, I was equally fascinated by the arts and sciences, but I struggled to find a field that let me pursue both. I initially studied Industrial Engineering in my hometown, Santander, but something was missing... the hands-on creativity I craved.
That’s when I discovered Creative Technology, a program that felt like it was designed just for me. I packed my stuff and moved to The Netherlands, and haven’t looked back since! After graduating with honors, I took the next logical step by pursuing a master’s in Interaction Technology, diving deeper into designing meaningful interactive systems. Along the way, I’ve worked on exciting projects like co-founding a startup, creating playful designs, and collaborating on projects for Dutch Design Week.
Right now, I’m exploring where I can excel professionally the most, with an interest in UX/UI design but an open mind to discovering new fields and challenges. What makes me stand out? I bring a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to every project, combined with an easygoing, adaptable personality and a spark of positive energy. I truly enjoy listening, learning, and making ideas happen :)
